"Turning Point" of the Lehigh Valley
Turning Point is a safe place where victims of abuse and their children can find refuge. The locations of the shelters and the identity of the clients are
confidential. OPEIU HEALTHCARE Pennsylvania's Staff volunteered to Adopt-A-Room at Turning Point for National Nurses and National Healthcare Week 2003 in recognition of our members'
commitment to caring for the people of the community in need.
The OPEIU HEALTHCARE Pennsylvania Staff is proud of the results of this marathon project. This room was completed in a
mere day by Michael O. Bodinsky, Executive Director; Mary Rita DuVall Quinn, Associate Director; Eric Sanoba, Labor Representative; Gregory Drakulic, Labor Representative;
Christopher Ordiway, Labor Representative; Courtney Artman, Volunteer; and Debra A. Smith, Membership Specialist. We would like to share the photos of our shelter room and hope this may
inspire others to reach out to the many wonderful organizations in need of support that rely on donations and volunteers to continue their services to the communities in which we live.
